Starting a second brand means that you get to do all the grassroots, in the field, in the stores, bootstrapping, practical stuff to launch and get support of your brand!
My take is all the most successful launches in our wonderful natural products space have strong IN THE FIELD teams and founders!
In the stores, with the Reps, one door, one retailer, one city at a time!
I love love our UNFI Canada team. They were game changer for my first start-up and are again now with The Better Chocolate.
One of the keys to success last time was spending days and days with the awesome UNFI reps: on the Vancouver Island, in each of our main cities and even up in the Laurentides where my mom lives, with the amazing Quebec reps.
Helping them understand why my brand is so awesome and pitching together, repeat, repeat repeat.
I'm thrilled and it's heart warming to have SO MUCH support. Grateful every day.
